Language of education Ukrainian
Learning outcomes of course unit

Know:

- to automate ship power plants, including the specifics of controlling ship diesel and gas turbine plants;

-  ensure the control of fuel systems, including:

-  knowledge of methods for limiting the fuel supply to main engines,

-  knowledge of the specifics of controlling parallel engine operation, the purpose and main functions of main engine fuel injection systems working in conjunction with fixed and variable pitch propellers;

Be able to:

- analyse operating modes, including ship automated control systems, ship diesel and gas turbine engines as control objects;

- ensure automated control of fuel and lubrication operations, use and maintain DAU and ACS SEU systems;

- apply modern methods of automatic control theory, logical circuit algorithms and block diagrams to analyse the operation of control and monitoring systems.
