Language of education Ukrainian
Learning outcomes of course unit
  1. Knowledge of the basic methods of controlling the coordinates of an electric drive – current, torque, speed, position – and methods of their technical implementation, the ability to interpret and analyze the corresponding circuit solutions of electric drives.
  2. Ability to use the mathematical description of electric drive systems in static and dynamic modes to synthesize control laws and optimize these modes.
  3. Knowledge of electromechanical properties and understanding of the features of controlled DC and AC electric drive systems with semiconductor converters.
  4. Knowledge of methods for calculating parameters and the ability to use them to select the most important elements of the power channel of modern automated electric drive systems that give it the necessary properties: motors, resistances, valve converters of various types, transformers and reactors.
  5. Ability to assess energy efficiency and reliability of electrical, electrical and electromechanical systems.
  6. Apply application software, microcontrollers and microprocessor technology to solve practical problems in professional activities.
  7. To apply methods of synthesis, analysis and research of vector control systems for electromechanical energy conversion in AC electric drives, which are used in the construction of modern electric drives with asynchronous and synchronous motors in the form of algorithms for controlling the coordinates of electromechanical systems.
