Knowledge of the basics of military service, the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, tactical training, means of communication, orientation in the terrain, safety rules, first aid, the consequences of violating duties, the basics of the use of weapons and the norms of international humanitarian law.

Ability to assess the combat situation, act on orders within a unit, use means of communication, orient oneself in the terrain, identify threats, choose methods of camouflage, take into account the impact of electronic warfare (EW) and weapons of mass destruction, assess the situation in battle and adhere to legal norms when performing tasks.
